At Social Stepmom, we are excited to share this great project! The Shoebox Project for Shelters, is a national charity supporting homeless and at-risk women in shelters across Canada.
The project is partnering with eBay Canada to launch the eBay Share Joy Collaboration. The charity sale features an exclusively-designed bracelet by Canadian designer Ayca along with Jessica Mulroney and Caroline Mulroney Lapham, two of the co-founders of The Shoebox Project.
Hand-made and designed in Canada, the “Share Joy” bracelet is made of an adjustable black silk-blend string band and sterling silver charm. The trendy design is inspired by blending eastern and western aesthetics. It can be worn on its own, the same way Meghan Markle wore it as seen on InStyle Magazine , or it can be stacked with other jewellery.
The bracelet will be sold as a set of two identical pieces; one will be sent to the buyer, and one will go into a shoebox filled with items for a woman living in a shelter. In addition to the bracelet donation, all proceeds from the sale will go directly to the charity.
The “Share Joy” bracelet will be exclusively available at eBay.ca from May 1 – 31 at $50 CAD (for the pair), with free shipping in Canada.
